Driver Dial ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy
Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use our mobile
application and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our services:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, mobile number, and profile picture
(Selfie).
- Identity Documents (Drivers Only): Government-issued ID proofs (Driving License,
National ID) for KYC verification. Note: As per our Terms, Govt IDs are deleted from our servers
immediately after verification status is updated.
- Location Data: Precise real-time location (GPS) is collected to facilitate ride
matching, track rides, and ensure safety, even when the app is running in the background (for
drivers).
- Device Information: We collect unique device identifiers (Device ID), IP address,
and device fingerprinting data to prevent fraud and legally validate your acceptance of our Terms.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Service Provision: To connect passengers with nearby drivers efficiently.
- Communication: To send booking updates, OTPs (via Email/SMS), and push
notifications.
- Safety & Security: To verify driver identity and monitor trip progress for user
safety.
- Advertising: To display relevant ads to non-Pro users via Google AdMob.
3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We share data with trusted third-party service providers to facilitate app functions. These partners have
their own privacy policies:
- Google Maps Platform: Used for maps, routes, and location tracking.
- Google AdMob: Used to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers
and usage data to show personalized ads.
- Firebase (Google): Used for secure authentication and sending Push Notifications
(FCM).
- Hostinger (SMTP): Used for sending transactional emails (e.g., OTPs, receipts).
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We believe in data minimization:
- KYC Documents: Deleted permanently from our servers immediately upon verification
status update (Approved/Rejected).
- Account Deletion: You may request complete account deletion via the app dashboard
or by emailing support. We verify identity via OTP before permanently purging data.

5. App Permissions
The app requires specific permissions to function correctly:
- Location: Required for ride booking and driver tracking.
- Camera/Storage: Required for uploading profile pictures and KYC documents.
- Phone State: Required to read device identity for security and fraud prevention.
6. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal
data from minors.
